Yes! A peel, or even the minty meltdown of aha mask will bring the pH level down (more acidic). That's why it tingles and feels stimulating. The turbo tonik or neutralizer bring that pH back up and 'stop' the acidity. This is also why turbo tonik is great for blemished skin types-it slows the oil production which occurs when skin is too acidic.
