AHA - A tingling peppermint infused mask to loosen and lift dead, tired skin. Contains alpha hydroxy acid, a natural exfoliator, from apples and grapes. Also contains plant extracts and sea kelp algae to hydrate. Great for skin that reacts to scrubs.

Enyme - An exfoliating mask with papain derived from papaya to gently exfoliate skin. Great for all skin types, especially those with sensitive skin.

While both are "chemical" exfoliants they melt away dead skin in different ways.

Enzymes are proteolytic which means they break down the protein, specifically keratin, that holds together your dead skin cells. Think of it as melting away the glue that holds the skin cells together, and in turn this exfoliates your skin! The upper layer of your skin is mostly made of dead skin cells containing keratin protein. The enzymes work by specifically breaking down the keratin protein, resulting in smoother skin. Enzyme exfoliants are gentle compared to glycolics such as AHA, which slip deeper into the skin’s barrier. Instead, the enzymes work solely on the surface of the skin, allowing it to be less stimulating on the skin.
